Noah's NurseryNewborns through approximately age 1Loving volunteers provide quality childcare for infants during the 9:00am and 11:00am Sunday morning services. We use a “Call For Care” alert system so you can rest assured that we have a way to call for you during the service. You will find us to the left of the sanctuary doors as you enter the church building. Please label your child’s diaper bag, sign them in, give blow a kiss, and rest assured that your little one will be fine while you enjoy worship just a few steps away. Toddler TownApproximately ages 1 through 3Our rooms are filled with age-appropriate toys and other items which encourage imaginative, cooperative play. You can find us in classrooms 3 and 4 of Kids’ Cove (the building to the right of the church). Our volunteers include parents, grandparents and others in the Hope Chapel family. Toddler Town is also equipped with a “Call For Care” alert system so you can rest assured we have a way to call for you if we need you during the service. Please label your child’s diaper bag, sign them in, give a hug, and rest assured that your toddler will be just fine while you enjoy the worship and teaching next door. Kids CovePreschool through 4th gradeChildren’s Chapel takes place on Sundays during both worship services in the house next door to the main church building called “Kids’ Cove.” Check-in is 5 minutes before each service in room 5 (off the back patio). While there, your child will:
Other fun programs include learning music which is presented in “big church,” sitting with parents during the worship songs every 2nd Sunday of each month for Family Worship Sunday, field trips and other family activities which correlate with the lessons; and regular opportunities to participate in missions projects to our sister church, Hope Chapel Rosarito (Mexico). Club 56Just for 5th and 6th gradersHope Chapel’s “tweens” are invited upstairs to “The Reach” (above the sanctuary) during the 2nd service. Committed couples rotate teaching responsibility for this energetic age-group. During the summer months, the students have interactive lessons in Creation Science. During the rest of the year, they are often taught what the grown-ups are learning in church, such as our recent Ten Commandments series. After a time of sharing and prayer for one another, the students have a Bible lesson and activity, then they are allowed to play organized games (including ping pong) in The Reach. Once per month they sit with their parents for the entire worship service, in order to help them transition in to “big church” when they are teenagers. If your child has special educational or developmental needs, please contact our Family Life Pastor, Noelani Jai, to help us know how to better teach your child. Particularly if your child has an Individualized Education Plan in place at his/her school, we would like to support that plan during Sunday School as well. |
