I love the fact that we have a culture of serving here at HC. It is one of the qualities that makes Hope Chapel such a remarkable place. This church is such a beautiful example of what can happen when serving becomes the norm instead of being a spectator. BUT, as wonderful as all these things are, serving is still messy. It’s not always perfect, stress free, and filled with joy. Today we want to take a realistic look at serving.

We have bought into the fairy tale myth of relationships. They just automatically work out and everyone lives happily ever after. NOT TRUE! Great relationships are a tremendous amount of work. Don’t believe anything else or you will be setting yourself up for disappointment and a lot more mess. Is there any hope for our relationships? Of course!
