Christmas and giving have always been associated together. It’s why we say; “Christmas is the Season of giving.” The foundation for this is not in the practice of giving gifts to each other. It’s the example that Jesus set for us in the Christmas story and the reason He showed up in a manger in Bethlehem as the ultimate gift given. Giving is God’s Kingdom principal of sowing and reaping – planting and harvesting. We harvest what we plant in our lives. Look to making a meaningful Christmas this year by giving?

Holiday Sermon Series: Making Christmas More Meaningful

There is a huge opportunity in front of us to experience the heart of God in a new and fresh way by making Christmas more meaningful. Through the month of December, we will take a look at 4 themes - and challenge each other to make the Holiday meaningful by loving, serving, giving and rejoicing. These themes need to be really concrete so we can live them out in our daily lives. So that’s our goal in the next four weeks - to be practical and intentional with Christmas.
