Have you ever received some great news that caused you to rejoice and feel excited? You got the job – promotion. You are getting a big tax refund. You aced that huge exam at school – your loan was approved. Good news brings joy. Good news makes us feel great. With all the bad news we are exposed to, who doesn’t need a little bit more good news! This is what the arrival of Jesus did in Bethlehem. The angels who announced Jesus’ birth and the shepherds who received that amazing message all were rejoicing that night. The arrival of Jesus to planet earth began with rejoicing and continues today.

Holiday Sermon Series: Making Christmas More Meaningful

There is a huge opportunity in front of us to experience the heart of God in a new and fresh way by making Christmas more meaningful. Through the month of December, we will take a look at 4 themes - and challenge each other to make the Holiday meaningful by loving, serving, giving and rejoicing. These themes need to be really concrete so we can live them out in our daily lives. So that’s our goal in the next four weeks - to be practical and intentional with Christmas.
