We all face conflict. Most of us hate it. The Book of James is blunt about the source of our conflict. This can be both painful and helpful. By applying Godly wisdom, we can by God’s grace become Christians who are in the world, but not of the world. As we humbly come to Him, we are lifted up so that we can resist the temptations of this world and live a life that truly pleases our Lord.

Sermon Series: Living Out Our Faith

Hope Chapel begins a brand-new series entitled, “Living Out Our Faith” and to guide our thoughts, we will be working through the book of James, in the New Testament. James is one of the most practical books you will ever read! It instructs us in how to live out our faith, not to just know, but to DO when it comes to issues such as confusion, anger, controlling our tongue, temptation, money, patience, and more. Who doesn’t need help in these areas? We need to know and understand God’s Word, but more important than that, we need to know how to live out our faith in society today. The Epistle of James gives us a roadmap.
