Today, instead of talking about a hero we get to learn from a zero. We get to learn from the example of someone who made fatal mistakes. His name is Achan. Israel’s defeat at Ai and God revealing the cause is the sin of one man and family. We learn our actions have consequences beyond ourselves. Most believe what they do with their life is their own business. BUT...is that true? Is that biblical? Is that how God would see it? Do my actions impact others around me? Should I be aware how my actions and attitudes influence others? Today’s story helps answer some of these questions.
