The Holy Spirit is part of what we call the Trinity. God the Father – God the Son – God the Holy Spirit – Three distinct personalities yet only one God. One God who manifests Himself in three distinct ways – three distinct roles. The Holy Spirit is God and He is our constant, ever present Advocate in this life. What is an advocate? God the Father sent the Holy Spirit into every follower’s life so we have a continual companion to help us navigate this broken world. We are not alone! Let’s embrace some of the mystery with today’s teaching on the Holy Spirit.

For the next four weeks we are going to be exploring the Holy Spirit’s role in our lives as followers of Jesus. WHY? Because it is impossible to follow Jesus consistently in this life without Him. The pages of the Bible are filled with references to the Holy Spirit. Without an understanding of the Holy Spirit’s role in your life your spiritual experience of your salvation will be limited.
