After rebuilding the wall, Nehemiah immediately set guards at the gates, teaching us that what God restores must also be protected. A fortified life requires daily vigilance, not just breakthrough moments. Walls establish boundaries, but gates determine what we allow to shape our hearts and habits. Spiritual drift happens quietly when we stop paying attention. Faithfulness means guarding what God has built so it continues to flourish for His glory.
