In Nehemiah 2, we see a God-honoring pattern for rebuilding what is broken. Nehemiah allows God to search his heart, depends fully on the Spirit’s leading, and then approaches the king with bold, respectful, and specific requests. Before taking action, he honestly assesses the condition of the walls, taking responsibility before God and the people. Finally, he identifies the real opposition and responds with confidence in God’s sovereign purpose, reminding us that lasting restoration begins with spiritual clarity, prayerful dependence, and courageous obedience.
