Today’s message contains a key ingredient when it comes to the health and welfare of God’s people. The Lord says in Malachi 3:6-11 that He has established a principle about the tithe (10%) and people can not violate it if they are going to live and enjoy life. To obey this principle is to experience untold blessings and to violate it is to experience great difficulty until the Christian come to terms with it. The Word of God promises your future will flourish once you’ve established your life with tithing your first fruits to God.

Obedience to God’s Word results in blessing. This is a life that God will “Go The Extra Mile” to bless. Guaranteed! If you want a life that God will bless then you must have a commitment to follow His Word. We say this phrase all the time at Hope Chapel- “Obedience = Blessing”. It is more than some cute slogan. It is a life principle. This is how you build lives with God’s blessings. It’s not about luck. It’s about following. For the next few weeks we are going to look at areas of obedience – Biblical behaviors that define following Jesus. These are the actions we must establish in our lives if we desire God’s blessing.
